Among Anne’s many accolades she was absolutely delighted to be awarded the Institute of Directors, Isle of Man, Director of the Year in 2022 and has also been awarded honorary positions at Cardiff University and Queens University Belfast.

She has been invited to Chair and participate on Boards and Committees of strategic influence throughout her career including Policy Development, most recently Palliative and End of Life Care in the Isle of Man and previously in Northern Ireland.

She brings with her a diverse background of experience and skills having recently chaired the Special Interest Groups for End-of-Life Care and Compassionate Communities with the International Foundation for Integrated Care.

Anne describes her experience as a Paediatric Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist in Cardiff working alongside families when a child or young person has cancer as one of the most privileged roles of her career.

Having recently moved to Cumbria, the UK Hub of Flynne's Barn, Anne describes her role in the charity as both an honour and again a privilege as “she really gets it”.
