Day visits

We welcome groups of young people to enjoy coming together and we provide support through a wide range of activities.

A day visit to Flynne’s Barn involves:

  • Arrival and welcome
  • Learning bushcraft skills and cooking a campfire meal together (we have a wonderful tipi for rainy days)
  • A choice of outdoor activities or a creative workshop (see the Activities page)

A programme of events will be developed in Autumn 2020. All visits will be carefully planned to provide visitors with the confidence to spend time at Flynne’s Barn safely and we will have measures in place to reduce the risks posed by COVID-19.

We are in a beautiful setting where we have the space for young people to come together and enjoy the great outdoors in a safe way.

After cancer, people might find conventional work overwhelming, and want to give something back, so volunteering can be a good option. Don’t underestimate how much people will want to volunteer at somewhere like this.
