Our Mission

Bringing young people living with cancer together to build community.

We offer:

  • residential stays to meet others who ‘get it’
  • counselling with people who understand
  • access to nature
  • outdoor adventure
  • creative activities

We partner with other organisations to support the young cancer community.

Book a stay

All our stays for this year are now fully booked.

We’ll be releasing 2025 Flynne’s Barn Stay dates in January.

We’re also liaising with our partner organisations to book in 2025 Partnership Stays.

In the meantime, send us an email to find out more and join our waiting list.

We look forward to welcoming you!

Cancer can be an isolating period - a place like Flynne’s Barn changes that. Being able to meet individuals who have had similar experiences with cancer, sharing stories, information, all the while enlightening one another - it’s something we all needed. The activities strengthen these bonds and allow us to push beyond the limitations and affects caused by cancer.

I can’t think of a setting more inspiring than Thorneythwaite, nestled among the mountains and wide open skies. The farm is a haven of peace and tranquillity.
